Bitcoin’s hashrate has reached a post-halving low, according to analysts at Hashrate Index. This comes as Bitcoin’s price climbs above $60,000, though it’s still uncertain if the network has fully recovered.
Bitcoin’s difficulty is set for a significant increase this week, as the 7-day average hashrate surpassed 600 EH/s for the first time since mid-June. While this could temporarily boost hashprice, transaction fees remain low, benefiting users but not miners.
Hashprice recently hit a record low of $44.31/PH/day, worsened by German BTC transfers. The mining industry, already struggling, faces added challenges with upcoming difficulty adjustments.
Bitcoin’s price surge follows over $300 million inflow into spot Bitcoin ETFs, marking the seventh day of positive inflows. This indicates potential long-term growth and resilience despite current hurdles.
