Bitcoin outperformed the S&P 500 in 50% of US trading sessions in the rolling 90-session period reported by Glassnode. That ended a stretch in which Bitcoin lost more sessions than it won, but its win rate has not risen above 50% since March 2025. Glassnode said Bitcoin’s average per-session gains were also slightly higher than the index’s.
Separately, Capriole Investments data showed that after seven past midterm elections in which Democrats won both chambers of Congress under a Republican president, the S&P 500 gained an average of 10.7% over the next three months. The historical count excludes this year’s vote.
