Strategy says it bought 811 Bitcoin for about $66 million at an average price of $80,846 per BTC, bringing its holdings to 849,327 BTC. The source does not give a calendar date for the purchase. It reports Bitcoin at $76,751 at the time of writing, down nearly 4% over the preceding week.
Strategy had neither bought nor sold Bitcoin the week before this purchase. Chairman Michael Saylor also said the firm repurchased $208 million of its STRC preferred stock.
