Bitcoin ETF Draws $1.2B Since July

BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF has drawn an impressive 18,600 BTC, valued at $1.2 billion, since July 2024. This ETF has shown nine consecutive days of positive capital flow, marking a significant milestone in the cryptocurrency market.

Despite the ETF’s strong performance, investor sentiment remains skeptical, with many expecting a price decline. Bitcoin’s price saw a slight correction, stabilizing above $64,400.

Thomas Farrer, co-founder of Apollo, noted the rarity of such consistent positive dynamics in the ETF industry. Over seven of the nine days, daily net inflows exceeded $100 million, placing the fund among the top-10 global ETFs.

The substantial capital inflow into BlackRock’s ETF, amid cautious market sentiment, underscores a complex investment landscape. This performance may signal a shift towards institutional adoption, potentially stabilizing the market long-term.
