Blockchain.com and NYSE Group signed a memorandum of understanding to explore giving eligible Blockchain.com users access to tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs through a planned NYSE digital trading platform. Access remains subject to regulatory approval. The companies have not said which countries would be included or when users could begin trading.
The agreement also covers market data. ICE Data Services plans to distribute Blockchain.com’s crypto data and analytics, while Blockchain.com plans to add selected ICE and NYSE data feeds to its app. Blockchain.com already offers Ondo-powered tokenized stocks and ETFs in some markets, but says those products track the economic performance of underlying assets; tokenized products can differ from traditional shares in structure and ownership rights.
