Bitwise Chainlink ETF Launch Date Delayed to February
- The Bitwise Chainlink ETF has received approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to list under ticker CLNK on NYSE Arca.
- Originally set for an earlier launch, Bitwise has postponed the date to February 1, 2026.
- Bitwise plans to waive a management fee of 0.34% for the first three months on up to $500 million in assets under management (AUM).
- The ETF will track the CME CF Chainlink-Dollar Reference Rate and is expected to have initial baskets purchased worth $2.5 million.
- Total LINK futures open interest fell nearly 5% to $632.86 million amid recent market activity.
The delay in launching the Bitwise Chainlink ETF allows more time for confirming a staking provider, with Attestant Ltd preferred but not yet enabled for LINK staking.
Currently trading at $13.19, LINK’s price has seen a decline of about three percent over the past day, reflecting broader market trends and decreased trading volume.
