Gate Protocol Security Oracle Launch by Hexagate, eOracle

Hexagate and eOracle have launched the Gate Protocol Security Oracle, developed on the eOracle stack, marking the first decentralized ML-based security protocol.

This innovation addresses longstanding DeFi issues where projects compromised decentralization for security. Utilizing EigenLayer’s Actively Validated Services (AVS) and re-staked Ethereum (ETH), the protocol ensures robust security without sacrificing decentralization.

eOracle’s strength comes from over $5 billion in staked ETH, backed by 120,000 stakers and 110 validators, making it a resilient oracle solution. The Gate Protocol Security Oracle employs Oracle Validated Service (OVS) models to integrate Hexagate’s ML for on-chain security, acting as a ‘DeFi Firewall.’

The modularity of OVSs offers essential fast connectivity and computational bandwidth for blockchain infrastructure. Founder Matan Si emphasized that eOracle supports heavy computation, leveraging Ethereum validators and staked ETH for shared security, driving future modular innovations.

This development is pivotal for enhancing trust and security in the DeFi ecosystem, laying a foundation for secure and decentralized blockchain applications.
