Chainlink Validates Wyoming Stable Token Reserves

Wyoming Enhances Frontier Stable Token with Chainlink Integration

  • Wyoming’s Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) will now utilize Chainlink Proof of Reserve for near-real-time reserve verification.
  • The Wyoming Stable Token Commission adopted this integration to enhance transparency in FRNT’s reserves and supply data.
  • FRNT, launched in January, is backed by US dollars and short-term US Treasurys, generating income for Wyoming’s School Foundation Program.
  • The commission is also implementing Chainlink’s Secure Mint feature to ensure reserves match or exceed total token supply before minting new tokens.
  • This update follows Wyoming’s recent migration of FRNT to Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP).

The integration of Chainlink technology aims to provide timely visibility into the backing of FRNT between reporting periods, aligning with regulatory requirements for stablecoin disclosures.

With this new system, Wyoming enhances its stablecoin framework while ensuring that verified reserves can support the total supply of FRNT as it continues to grow. (Source)
