Bybit Kazakhstan and Alatau City Authority signed a cooperation memorandum at the AI & Digital Bridge 2026 forum in Astana, held October 1–3, 2026. The memorandum records an intention to cooperate, not the launch of products or services.
The parties plan to examine real-world asset tokenization, digital asset payments for Alatau’s residents, businesses and visitors, and cross-border transfers and settlements. They will consider whether tokenized assets could be admitted to trading where applicable, as the city’s regulatory environment takes shape.
