Tether has announced a strategic partnership with the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) to launch educational programs and drive blockchain and AI education in Vietnam. This collaboration includes five educational conferences across major Vietnamese cities, such as Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam ranks third globally in the cryptocurrency market, following the US and UK. About 17% of the Vietnamese population owns or trades cryptocurrencies, marking a significant potential for growth. The partnership will also introduce the UniTour program, aimed at college students, and support for the VBA SwitchUp Accelerator to foster Web3 startups.
This initiative aligns with Tether’s broader educational goals, such as their June 2024 partnership with the National University of Taipei. By enhancing blockchain and AI education, Tether aims to empower Vietnam’s tech sector and digital finance landscape. This collaboration is poised to significantly impact Vietnam’s blockchain and AI education, fostering greater awareness, adoption, and innovation.
