Web3 Blockchain Projects Secure $1.1B Investment

In July 2024, 108 Web3 and blockchain projects secured $1.17 billion in funding, focusing on DeFi and blockchain services development. The largest investment went to Australian Bitcoin miner Iris Energy, which raised $413.4 million.

Other notable investments included Alps Blockchain with $113 million, AI company Sentient with $85 million, Singapore-based Partior with $60 million, and Ceti with $60 million. AI projects also saw significant funding, with Skild AI leading at $300 million.

The first week of July alone saw $620.5 million in investments. This surge highlights the growing influence of blockchain and AI technologies. The substantial funding indicates a shift towards advanced digital solutions, promising further innovation in the digital economy.

July 2024’s investment boom underscores the strategic importance of blockchain and AI, setting the stage for transformative growth and development in these sectors.
