PancakeSwap, a decentralized multichain trading protocol, has launched an AI-powered predictions market on Arbitrum as of June 26, 2024. This new feature allows users to forecast cryptocurrency price movements, such as Ether (ETH), every 10 minutes and earn token rewards.
This initiative marks a significant milestone as PancakeSwap’s predictions market leverages Allora’s decentralized AI network to provide price feeds. A standout feature is that users can either follow or oppose the AI’s predictions to earn rewards, offering a unique interactive experience.
To celebrate the launch, PancakeSwap has initiated a 9-week campaign with a 60,000 ARB token reward pool, stemming from a 450,000 ARB grant. A 3% fee on the total pool will support buyback and burn programs, as well as future marketing and development initiatives.
By integrating AI into its predictions market, PancakeSwap aims to enhance user engagement and expand its DeFi ecosystem on the Ethereum Layer-2 network, Arbitrum, positioning itself strategically for long-term growth and innovation in the DeFi space.
