Binance France told customers their accounts will close on December 31, 2026, according to media reports citing emails from the exchange. The reports say accounts with a remaining balance will face a monthly fee starting November 29 of 0.025% of the balance or at least 10 USDC. Binance said customers must complete withdrawals by November 29 to avoid the fee.
An email cited by Cryptoast said assets still held after December 31 could be converted, transferred or otherwise processed under Binance’s terms. The source does not establish that similar notices were sent to users in Spain or Belgium.
