Revolut Eyes $1 Billion Latam Growth Investment

Revolut announced a commitment to invest at least $1 billion in Latin America as part of its expansion plans. The company expects the region to account for one in four customers it acquires in 2027, but that is a forecast, not a result.

Revolut said Mexico recently granted it a banking license, Peru’s license is in its final approval stages, and its Colombia launch is still pending. It plans to build its technology in-house rather than expand through acquisitions. The company said the investment could increase if it finds opportunities to accelerate.
