The decentralized exchange ZKX has officially ceased operations due to low user activity and unsustainable economic conditions.
Founded by Eduard Jubany Tu, ZKX operated on Ethereum and Starknet blockchains. The platform struggled with minimal trading volumes, which couldn’t cover even basic operational costs.
Users can withdraw their funds until August 31. The ZKX token has plummeted 70% in value over the past week, exacerbating the financial strain.
This shutdown underscores the challenges decentralized platforms face in achieving sustainable growth and economic viability, highlighting the need for robust user engagement and market confidence.
