Binance said on November 2 that it had completed a zero-knowledge proof-of-reserves procedure for an October 31 snapshot, following a late-October security incident. The procedure covered ten major cryptoassets. It is not a full financial audit, a guarantee against losses or evidence that all stolen assets have been returned.
Binance said its affected-asset replenishment programme had reached approximately 95% at the time of the update. That figure refers to affected asset coverage, not the same rate for every token. Binance said another snapshot would follow on November 4 and that its proof process could take roughly 40 to 50 hours.
