Kraken Prop: Commodity Signals, Lower Non-Crypto Commissions

Kraken Prop announced on October 29 that it had added six commodity markets: gold, silver, WTI oil, Brent oil, copper and natural gas. It also cut non-crypto commissions from four to two basis points per side on plans other than Lite; crypto commissions are unchanged.

Kraken says participants submit simulated trade signals, not real positions, and do not own the commodities. The markets are available where Kraken Prop operates except in the UAE, while leverage and notional limits vary by plan. The announcement describes the service as unregulated and says evaluation fees become non-refundable once trading begins.
