Grayscale Zcash ETF Reaches $1 Billion in Assets
- ZCSH logged $306.12 million in net inflows by September 24, with net assets reaching $1 billion.
- DCG International Investments contributed about $100 million through an in-kind swap of approximately 85,705 ZEC tokens on September 8.
- Grayscale announced a 3-for-1 forward split for ZCSH, effective before the market opens on September 30.
- The ZEC token’s price doubled since the ETF’s debut, trading around $1,540 as of the report date.
Despite reaching a milestone of $1 billion in assets under management, only about $306 million came from new inflows, with significant contributions from existing holdings and increased token value. The upcoming share split aims to make shares more accessible to smaller investors.
The rapid increase in asset value is largely attributed to pre-existing holdings and a surge in ZEC prices rather than new capital inflows alone. (Source)
