Bristol Crown Court sentenced three men on October 15 to prison terms of five to six years for an aggravated burglary in which they demanded cryptocurrency from a man in his home. All three had pleaded guilty in August. Police said the men broke into the Bristol home on May 15 but failed to steal digital currency.
The victim suffered a head injury that required hospital treatment. Police arrested the men at the scene after the victim’s teenage sister raised the alarm. The victim said the attack had left him constantly frightened.
