Visa announced on October 15, 2026, that Visa Direct had moved its USDC prefunding capability from pilot to commercial production, with payments provider Inyo Global as its first network enabler. Eligible businesses can use USDC to prefund Visa Direct payouts in near real time, around the clock, but the first phase is geographically limited and eligibility requirements apply. Inyo has integrated the capability into its existing APIs, so its clients do not need to rebuild their systems.
