Polyhedra Network has launched the open beta of Proof Cloud at the Google ZK Summit. Proof Cloud aims to make zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs more accessible in web2 and web3, supported by Google Cloud, Polygon (MATIC), Linea, and Lita.
Proof Cloud seeks to meet the growing need for efficient and cost-effective ZK-proof technology. ZK-proof technology allows one party to prove a statement’s truth without revealing the information itself, crucial for blockchain privacy and security. Polyhedra connects over 25 blockchains through its zkBridge interoperability solution.
A standout feature of Proof Cloud is Proof Arena, a tool for transparency in ZK-proof tech. It allows developers to benchmark, test, and compare performance, supporting systems like Polyhedra’s Expander and Polygon’s Plonky3. According to Chief Strategy Officer Eric Vreeland, this platform can reduce computational costs by up to 90%.
Polygon Labs Co-Founder Sandeep Nailwal emphasized the importance of making ZK tech more accessible and transparent. Proof Cloud significantly lowers the barrier to entry and adds transparency to the rapidly advancing ZK technology space.
