Irish actor Anthony Boyle will portray FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried in Netflix’s miniseries The Altruists, scheduled to premiere on November 19. The series will examine FTX’s rise and collapse, with a focus on Bankman-Fried’s relationship with former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison, played by Julia Garner.
Boyle said he emailed Bankman-Fried more than 100 questions in prison and received answers to about 98% of them. He declined to disclose the answers, saying he had promised to keep them confidential.
