Akamai launched Agent Sandbox and Akamai Inference in beta on October 27, 2026. Agent Sandbox uses WebAssembly to isolate code written and run by AI agents, with limits on computing power, memory and outbound connections. Akamai Inference runs open AI models on the company’s cloud.
