Terroll Paul, Mohamed Samagassi and Pierre Madzou were sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on 15 October 2026 for breaking into a man’s home in Bristol and assaulting him in a failed attempt to steal cryptocurrency. All three had pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary. Paul received six years in prison, Madzou five and a half years, and Samagassi five years.
The men demanded a large amount of digital currency during the May 15 break-in, but police did not say how much. The victim suffered a head injury that required hospital treatment. His teenage sister alerted police, who arrested all three men at the scene.
