BPCE Launches Crypto Trading for Retail Customers in France
- Major French banking group BPCE will offer crypto trading services starting Monday.
- The service will be available through Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Épargne apps for around 2 million customers.
- Customers can trade bitcoin, ether, solana, and USDC directly via their banking apps.
- A monthly fee of €2.99 ($3.48) and a 1.5% transaction commission applies to trades.
- The rollout is managed by Hexarq, BPCE’s crypto-focused subsidiary, with plans to expand to its full retail base of 12 million customers by 2026.
