Total Ethereum Staked Exceeds $121B ETH, Supply Crunch Incoming?

Ethereum (ETH) has seen a significant surge in value and interest due to the potential approval of ETH ETFs, marking a notable event in the cryptocurrency sector. Currently, 32.5 million ETH, approximately 27% of Ethereum’s total supply valued at $121 billion, is staked according to on-chain data tracking avenue Nansen. This staking milestone surpasses Solana’s total Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) of $103 billion, highlighting Ethereum’s substantial market impact and hinting at a possible supply crunch that could further drive up ETH prices.

The possibility of an Ethereum ETF approval has sparked optimism in the market, potentially leading to a demand surge and further price increases. Despite a recent price dip to $3,705.54, the outlook remains bullish with predictions of reaching up to $8,000. This staking development not only underscores Ethereum’s growing adoption and investor confidence but also sets a strategic groundwork for its long-term position in the crypto market, potentially reshaping the supply-demand dynamics significantly.
