Amundi Puts European Equity Fund Share Class on Ethereum

Amundi said in a November 2026 announcement that it had issued a tokenised share class of its Core STOXX Europe 600 fund on public Ethereum, using infrastructure developed with CACEIS. The token represents a fund unit, not individually tokenised shares of the 600 underlying companies; the announcement does not say investors can trade those stocks around the clock.

Amundi said conventional distribution remains available. It cited potential gains in efficiency, settlement speed, transparency and distribution, but those gains depend on regulatory acceptance and supporting systems. The cited announcement did not provide enough information to measure investor use, costs or transaction speeds.
