World launched its first World ID suite for banks and financial institutions, co-founder Alex Blania announced at the Money20/20 conference. The suite is intended to help institutions check whether clients, video-call participants and AI agents acting for people are genuine; the source does not report how well it works.
World says its identity wallet lets users present cryptographic proofs without revealing personal data. To get a Human Badge for Zoom, participants must complete a one-time verification at an Orb and connect the wallet to their Zoom account. A separate AgentKit tool lets a verified person delegate proofs to an AI agent.
