The US Securities and Exchange Commission filed a civil complaint against BG Wealth Sharing and DSJ Exchange on October 29, alleging they raised more than $130 million from tens of thousands of retail investors through false filings and claims of risk-free returns from crypto trading signals. The SEC says neither business was registered with it, and that the filings, since removed from its website, were used to suggest legitimacy. The allegations are not a final court finding, and the SEC’s request for injunctions, disgorgement and civil penalties does not establish that investors will recover money.
