Wall, Giancarlo Discuss U.S. Crypto Regulation’s Future

In a November 6, 2026 statement, the Digital Sovereignty Alliance said its managing director, Adrian Wall, moderated a Strobe Summit discussion with former CFTC Chair Christiopher Giancarlo on U.S. digital asset policy. The statement does not give a date for the discussion.

According to DSA, Giancarlo called for exchange rules under existing CFTC authority and congressional action to address remaining gaps. He also raised financial privacy concerns about the GENIUS Act and said dollar-backed stablecoins could become a round-the-clock global payment system. The discussion covered oversight of prediction markets, perpetual futures and decentralized finance, including customer asset protection and accountability for platforms without traditional intermediaries.
