Blur announced on October 12, 2026, that it will close the blur.io web interface on November 12, 2026. The closure applies only to the interface: the marketplace protocol will remain operational on-chain, and the BLUR token will continue to control its fee switch.
Blur said its Blend lending protocol will stop matching new loans on November 12. Borrowers must repay outstanding loans by then or allow them to default; Blur said it will provide a tool to withdraw assets after the deadline.
