An Oct. 23, 2026, experiment asked ChatGPT, Grok and Claude Opus 5.5 to predict bitcoin’s closing price on Dec. 31, 2026, across four voice and text sessions. ChatGPT and Grok’s voice sessions both ended at $82,000; Claude’s text session predicted $78,000, and its later voice session predicted $85,000. None showed a reproducible calculation for its final figure.
The review found errors in Grok’s and Claude’s answers, while Claude’s voice session disclosed its limits sooner than its text session. The exercise was not a controlled benchmark: the sessions did not have identical verified access to live information, and independent tool logs did not establish what the voice assistants retrieved. It cannot show whether voice or text AI is generally more accurate.
