BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Sees Zero Inflows Again

BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, has recorded zero inflows for five consecutive days despite the firm’s internal investments. Earlier this week, total inflows to spot Bitcoin ETFs turned positive, yet the excitement around these ETFs is diminishing.

BlackRock’s Global Allocation Fund recently purchased 43,000 shares of the IBIT ETF, marking its third internal fund to seek Bitcoin exposure through this ETF. This internal movement suggests that the zero inflows may not be a major concern.

Institutional interest in Bitcoin ETFs is waning, partly due to the Federal Reserve’s stance on higher interest rates. Additionally, new crypto ETFs, like VanEck’s spot Solana ETF, are increasing competition in the market.

Despite current challenges, BlackRock’s strategic investments indicate a long-term commitment to Bitcoin, potentially positioning the firm advantageously as the market evolves.
