U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $643.2 million on Friday, according to Decrypt’s ETF tracker, their biggest one-day outflow of October. It was their first full trading session after attackers began draining roughly $6.4 billion from Binance on Thursday, after U.S. markets closed. Thursday’s $17.2 million in ETF inflows came before the theft; the timing does not establish why investors sold.
The Friday loss erased a four-day, $441 million inflow run, leaving Bitcoin ETFs down about $202 million for the week. Ethereum ETFs lost $155.7 million on Friday, extending a five-day outflow streak to about $431 million. Solana ETFs lost $10.8 million that day and about $72 million for the week.
