Binance Processes $4.65B in Withdrawals After Hack

Binance said it began restoring withdrawals in phases at 06:00 UTC on November 1, 2026, after a $6.3 billion hack. By 12:36 UTC, withdrawals had resumed for all 15 networks and assets in the initial phase, but availability depended on the asset and network pair; other routes were still being tested.

Between 06:00 and 15:30 UTC, Binance processed $4.649 billion in withdrawals and $1.01 billion in deposits. Net outflows of about $3.64 billion equaled 2.1% of its reported $171 billion in assets under management, based on Oct. 28 reserve data. Binance said it had replaced about 95% of the affected assets using its own resources, not recovered stolen funds, and expected an updated proof-of-reserves report on Nov. 2.
