Hanwha Investment & Securities announced on October 29 that it would adopt Chainlink data standards and the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol for a global real-world asset tokenization platform. The two also formed a working group on collateral and institutional uses. The proposal includes market data and transfers between networks, as well as standards for eligible tokenized instruments to serve as collateral across jurisdictions and venues.
The partnership does not establish that the platform is fully operational, that collateral has changed hands or that tokenized instruments have universal legal recognition. Actual use depends on market participants agreeing on operational standards.
