Binance Delists USDT Stablecoins in Europe

Binance to Delist Non-Compliant Stablecoins in Europe by March 31st

  • Binance will delist nine stablecoins, including Tether’s USDT, for European customers.
  • The decision is due to non-compliance with the EU’s Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulations.
  • Customers in the European Economic Area can still custody, withdraw, or deposit these stablecoins on Binance after delisting.
  • The EU’s securities regulator mandated the removal of non-compliant stablecoins by Q1 2025.
  • Circle’s USDC and EURC achieved compliance with EU laws in July 2024.

Binance announced it will delist nine stablecoins for European customers starting March 31st due to non-compliance with MiCA regulations. However, users can continue to manage these assets on the platform.
