Flare Connects LayerZero V2 to 75 Blockchains

The cross-chain messaging platform LayerZero has integrated Flare, connecting the Layer 1 blockchain to 75 blockchain networks. Announced on Wednesday, the integration allows Flare to link with major networks like Ethereum and Solana, as well as numerous Ethereum Layer 2 networks, expanding access to over 50,000 decentralized applications (dApps).

This integration accelerates Flare’s expansion, enabling innovative interoperable products. Flare co-founder Hugo Philion highlighted benefits such as secure connectivity to dApps, access to new users, and increased liquidity. Additionally, LayerZero’s Decentralized Verifier Networks (DVNs) enhance security.

LayerZero’s technology has facilitated over 134 million cross-chain messages and secured more than $50 billion in crypto, with protocols like Stargate Finance bridging nearly $800 million in assets in June alone. This milestone strategically positions Flare for long-term growth and broader ecosystem integration.
