UAE real estate developer MAG has partnered with Mantra (OM) to tokenize a $500 million real estate portfolio, starting with the Keturah Reserve in Meydan, Dubai. This partnership aims to revolutionize real estate investment using blockchain technology.
Historically, this marks one of the first large-scale implementations of property tokenization in the Middle East. The standout feature is the introduction of a real estate financing vault on Mantra’s compliance-ready Layer 1 blockchain, providing an alternative asset class for investors.
Investors can expect an approximate 8% APY from stablecoins, with additional yields in $OM tokens. The first vault will tokenize $20 million of a property valued over $70 million, ensuring over 300% collateralization, secured by MAG’s corporate credit.
This initiative is set to lower developers’ cost of capital and offer new investment opportunities, positioning MAG and Mantra as leaders in the tokenized real estate market in the Middle East.
