SpaceX blocks tokenized stock listing on OKXICE

SpaceX objected to OKXICE’s proposed listing of tokenized versions of its shares, according to a Nov. 2 notice from the trading venue. The listing was a proposal, not completed trading. Under the SEC framework described in the source, companies have 30 days to object to third-party tokenized trading of their shares, effectively keeping those tokens off the venue.

OKXICE, a venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, would offer such trading to US investors. SpaceX is among 56 companies that have objected. Tokenized versions of its shares already trade on platforms outside the US; holders’ rights may differ from those of traditional shareholders.
