Chainalysis reported about $443.3 billion in cryptocurrency value received across the Middle East and North Africa during its July 2025–June 2026 study period, down 1.4%. It reported that the United Arab Emirates grew 32% to about $104.8 billion, while Türkiye remained larger at around $144.5 billion. These figures describe the study period, not October 2026 activity.
Chainalysis also reported a fivefold rise in Turkish domestic peer-to-peer stablecoin volume and interruptions to Iranian activity during internet blackouts. Its on-chain estimates cover transfers visible to its models, not every retail purchase or unique user, and depend on how transfers and services are identified.
