Tria Enables AI-Agent Perpetuals Trading With Restricted Keys

Tria announced on October 30 that AI agents can open and close perpetual futures positions from a user’s account through dedicated trading keys. The keys do not permit withdrawals and can expire or be revoked, but they still allow trades that can change the account’s financial position. Whether an agent needs approval for a particular trade depends on the connected tool and its configuration.

The feature supports Hyperliquid and Decibel. Tria’s API documentation says both use real mainnet markets, with no testnet target; the environment setting changes fee routing, not whether trades are live. Revoking a key stops further authorized actions but does not necessarily cancel earlier orders or close existing positions.
