Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Caterpillar, McDonald’s and Western Digital objected to trading of their shares on the planned OKXICE tokenized stock venue, according to its October 19, 2026, notice. The notice brings the total to 16 issuers, up from nine in an October 15 notice. Neither notice explains their reasons or says whether an objection keeps a stock off the venue.
The updated notice says the venue may offer stocks tokenized by either outside parties or the issuers themselves; the earlier version described only outside parties. Under the third-party model, an outside party would hold real shares through a registered broker-dealer and issue tokens meant to carry the same dividend and voting rights.
