Standard Chartered researcher Geoffrey Kendrick said the Binance hack could shift more crypto trading toward decentralized exchanges and benefit Uniswap over the longer term. He cautioned investors to wait for the attack’s market impact to play out and said prices could fall further before assets are unfrozen and more details emerge.
Kendrick kept his $100 price target for Uniswap’s UNI token for 2030, saying the hack could make that forecast too low. CoinGecko reported that the top 10 spot decentralized-to-centralized exchange trading ratio reached 23.5% in the second quarter of 2026, up 2.1 percentage points from the first quarter. Cointelegraph reported that crypto markets declined after the hack, with UNI down 10.4% to $6.48.
